Israel Study Tour
March 10-22, 2009


Sponsored by the Institute of Jewish Studies, this thirteen-day tour will take you from Dan to Beersheba, allowing you to relive Bible history.  If you have never been to Israel, this is the year.  Professors Bill Krewson and Ed Hardesty will be your teachers.  The non-student cost is $3000.


Costa Rican Adventure

March 10-19, 2009


Costa Rica is described as a naturalist’s paradise.  Sandwiched between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, it is rich in rare natural beauty.  Your guide will introduce you to exotic birds and wildlife, volcanoes, rainforests, hot springs, and the history and culture of this little Latin American country.  Your tour hosts are Vice President Scott Keating and President Todd Williams.  Cost for these ten days is $2399.





Reformation Study Tour

March 21-29, 2009  



This tour is sponsored by the School of Bible and Ministry and will be led by Dr. David Hard.  He will be accompanied by Dr. Brian Toews, Director of the Center for University Studies. You will travel to Erfurt, Wittenberg, Wartburg, Marburg, Worms, Basel and Zurich to follow in the steps of Luther, Zwingli, and Erasmus.  The cost of this nine-day excursion is $2299.





From Plato to Picasso to You

June 10-18, 2009



You are invited to join worldview scholar and author, Nancy Pearcey, and writer-editor Rick Pearcey for a nine-day excursion through Rome, Florence, and Paris.  You will learn to “decipher” the meaning of the art and cultural artifacts that have shaped the Western mind−and that continue to influence our lives today.  You will visit the Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum, the David and the Uffizi, the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, and cruise the Seine in the City of Lights.  All of these will be illuminated by lectures and discussions led by the Pearceys.  Cost of this 9-day tour is $3899.




Northern Wisconsin and Michigan
July 18-28, 2009


Our 2009 motor tour will take you to the Wisconsin Dells, and the upper Michigan Peninsula.  Among the highlights are these extraordinary sites:  the renowned Tippecanoe Place, the Billy Graham Center, the magnificent Grand Hotel, the Gilmore and Henry Ford museums, the historic Greenfield Village and more.  The cost for this eleven-day tour is only $1999.  Tour leaders are Mae Stewart, PBU's tour coordinator, and John Bryant, Senior Advancement Officer.


Scottish Isles and Glens
August 1-12, 2009


Scotland’s rich cultural history coupled with its extraordinary natural beauty will make your Scotland experience unforgettable.  The tour itinerary includes the two major cities Glasgow and Edinburgh, as well as the Isles of Skye and Orkney.  Highlands clothed in purple, majestic castles, quaint fishing villages, colorful formal gardens, royal soldiers marching to the sound of bagpipes will add to your excitement. This tour will be led by President Todd Williams and his wife Dawn.  The all-inclusive cost is $4399.
