Profile:
Since 1973, Clarence Johnson has ministered in a pastoral role to children, youth and
adults through the local church. Pastoring in Florida also provided
opportunities to serve as a Bible college instructor, Fire-Rescue
Chaplain, Critical Incident Team member, and emergency services
educator. His relationship with PBU started with a Bachelor's degree in
Bible ('75) followed by a Master's degree in Christian Counseling
('95). He has a heart that delights in encouraging and strengthening
others in their walk with Christ. Strong ties with the University over
the years have now brought him back as Director of Alumni and Church
Relations since the fall of 2004. Clarence and his wife, Corty
('72), have two adult children, Adam, married and serving with Campus Crusade for Christ
in Orlando and Lauren, a graduate of PBU.
